Have you used the phrase "thinking outside the box" or "thinking out of the box"? Most probably! By using this phrase the suggestion is made that specialists must think further than their limited or must I say specific knowledge. Do you think this will work? Would it not be better to "think inside the box". With this I refer to people with a very wide knowledge range to first look at the box (the requirements) without the existing (in the box) knowledge.
